    Default DW Classic Series

    Hi all.

Ive had my head turned recently by the DW Classics line of drums. The shells come in traditional sizes (14" deep kicks etc) with a mahogany and poplar shell, maple re-reings and a rounded over "butter" bearing edge.

Ive found a set for sale with a matching solid maple snare, but would have to sell either my gretsch catalina or old premier to buy it due to lack of space.

Anyone have any experience with one of these kits?

They are high on my list. They sound like vintage Slingerlands, yet have the advantage of modern hardware. Get a set if you can.
